I called Easygreen today to ask them if they have info on how much the wheatgrass the sprouters produce. This is what I learned. 1 tray produces about 6-12 ounces of juice and with 3 machines you can produce about a tray of wheatgrass every 2-3 days.

Thanks for your interest in the Easygreen sprouters. You can check out the video at www.easygreen.com that explains how they work. Basically you fill them each with water once a day (unless you invest in an automatic water filling system too-I do not have this) and the machines mist the sprouts several times a day. There are drainage tubes that discharge the used water. We have this water emptying into a bucket. They do grow pretty much all kinds of sprouts. I have grown sunflower sprouts, pea greens, wheatgrass, buckwheat sprouts (both long and short) clover sprouts, alfalfa, bean sprouts, etc. I am working on finding out how much wheatgrass they grow at a time. I have not weighed how much is produced. I will get back to you about that. I just harvested a batch of sunflower sprouts from one machine and I will try and find out how much that weighs and get back to you. I seem to have misplaced my scale, but should be able to borrow one soon, I hope.
