hi mary alyce!!
so nice to see you stopped by the site! where do you get full spectrum
light bulbs? do they have them at grocery stores? or like home depot?
Hi Jenna,
Definitely full spectrum neon lights. In my area they are sold at specialty shops that sell hydroponic equipement. You can also get them from the floralite company. I bought a few lighting systems from them and they have very good quality lights. Let me know if you don't dig them out of the net, and I will look up the bills for the contact. They are expensive (up to 50.00 each retail), so make sure you get the right ones.
Antonio.
Not sure what Michael said, but possibly it was Full Spectrum Light bulbs as these are
highly recommended for indoor plant growing..Here is a web site that goes into detail
about the benefits of this type of lighting. http://www.lightbulb-world.com/full_spectrum_light_bulbs.htm
Hi Jenna..With further reference to my last comment, I would suggest that if you use these full spectrum bulbs to consider the incandescent type rather than the fluorescent type which contain mercury and can be harmful to your health, according to this article http://www.naturalnews.com/News_000679_compact_fluorescent_lights_m...
In this article they are also recommending LED type bulbs as an alternative, however these are more costly.
Hi. Full / Wide Spectrum lights. You can read about them at www.ottlite.com My email address is on my personal website at www.wheatgrassgreenhouse.com Please feel free to have a look around and keep in touch. Thanks. Michael Bergonzi =)
